1. How many photos will be in my gallery?

For wedding galleries, I typically deliver anywhere from 600 to 1,400+ images. Lots of factors go into this such as hours of coverage, having a second shooter, how your day unfolds, etc. For sessions, it depends on the package you select. For a one hour session, you can expect 75+ images and for a two hour session, you can expect 125+ images. This is detailed further within the "Investment" page! With that said, I never put a limit on the number of images I deliver. I want you to receive your gallery and not be able to pick your favorite!

2. When will I get my gallery back?

After your session, you can expect to receive your full gallery within 3 weeks. For weddings, you will receive your photo gallery back within 8 weeks and your video gallery back within 12 weeks. Don't worry though, I love putting together a sneak peek gallery for weddings so you have something to look back at in the meantime. For both weddings and sessions, I love to under promise & over deliver ;) You'll find in my Google reviews that many clients are happily surprised at the quick turnarounds! Typically, you'll receive your photo gallery before the promised delivery date because I just can't wait to start editing!

3. How do you deliver the gallery?

I use a professional online delivery system that makes the process super easy. You'll receive a link in your email to access. Within the link, you'll be able to download your entire gallery. For your convenience, you can also order high quality prints! For weddings, you'll receive your photo gallery first and then your video gallery separately through the same system!

4. Are prints included in the packages?

Since your favs may be different from mine, I like to offer clients the ability to print your gallery freely with no extra charge. You'll receive print rights with each package to print wherever you choose. For your convenience (and for high quality prints), your gallery will have the option to order prints directly from it as well!

5. Wardrobe advice?

I always suggest wearing an outfit(s) that best represent YOU! A good rule of thumb is limiting bold patterns and colors & staying away from logos so that you don't clash with each other (or the background) and so that your faces are the focus! As far as color, earth tones tend to work great with all skin complexions. If in doubt, feel free to send me a text!

6. Do you travel? Do you charge to travel?

Yes! I LOVE traveling to new destinations and being creative within new spaces. A few of my favorite locations I've shot at so far have been Duluth, MN and Sedona, AZ. Both super unique! As far as travel fees go, it depends! Since we're based in Alexandria, MN, I do charge a travel fee if your session is outside of the surrounding area. Cost will be determined based on miles roundtrip. For wedding days, it's a little different since your event is all day :) Either way, reach out with your location and I'll let you know if a travel fee applies!

7. What can we expect for editing & retouching?

I am a total perfectionist when it comes to editing. The normal editing workflow of a session consists of smoothing out your skin complexion (in a natural way), removing obvious blemishes, touching up fly away hairs, and of course, editing exposure, temperature, color, etc. to match the style you see in my portfolio. Please note, I do not edit body types. Your gallery should embrace who you really are! My typical rule-of-thumb is if it will be gone in a week (like a zit), I remove it!

8. I'm ready to book! How do I get started?

Yay! It's super easy! The first step is reaching out. You can do that by simply filling out the inquiry form on the "Contact" page. For all sessions and weddings, to reserve the time/day, a retainer is required along with a signed contract so that we know we're all on the same page! No worries though. I have a streamlined approach to make the booking process straight forward and easy. For now, reach out and let's get the ball rolling! Looking forward to learning all about your dreams & vision!
